  • The history of La Maisonnette

  • La Maisonnette®, founded in 1980 in Viale del Monte Oppio, in the wonderful setting of Palazzo Brancaccio Park in the center of Rome, was born as a bilingual Italian-French and lay school. In the 1990s, the English language was introduced in the educational offer. The school finally assumes the title of Trilingual School with an international cultural approach.

    In the same year La Maisonnette® expanded with a second location in Via Nomentana. In 2000 another La Maisonnette school was inaugurated in Via Bonvesin de La Riva, marking the beginning of the franchise project.

    Daniela Gianesini and Roberto Guerra, owners of the Eur headquarters since 2007 and La Maisonnette in Colle Oppio since 2009, currently holder of  La Maisonnette® trademark, reinforce the multi-language aspect of La Maisonnette® strongly believing that making more languages one’s own allows for more and anticipated cognitive flexibility and guarantee access to a wider vision of the world. In this way a program is launched to extend the linguistic offer to all 0-6 classes, including national and international university Masters held by experts in the field within the training path of the educational staff.

    Through its Educational Centers La Maisonnette® presents itself as a child-friendly trilingual nursery school and kindergarten, and it carries out its educational activities in English, French and Italian.
